My Climate Risk is a Lighthouse Activity of the World Climate Research Programme which aims to develop and mainstream a ‘bottom-up’ approach to regional climate risk, which starts with a better understanding of local contexts and the requirements of decision-makers.

To facilitate the desired ‘bottom-up’ approach, My Climate Risk is implemented through an informal ecosystem of regional hubs which support a ‘mycorrhizal network’ of communities of practice, sharing knowledge and resources.

The Ateneo Hub

The hub hosted by Ateneo de Manila University reflects on what it means to truly understand and address climate risk with people's experiences on the ground as a key component in the analyses. We aim to be interdisciplinary in scope, bringing the perspectives and methods of the different sciences and humanities to bear, and inclusive in approach, engaging with actors of all sectors and ages!

The Ateneo Regional Hub is housed in and led by the Climate and Disaster Resilience Program of the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability, and is implemented in collaboration with:

The School of Science and Engineering - Ateneo Research Institute of Science and Engineering (ARISE), through its Climate and Disaster Resilience Laboratory

The Manila Observatory, an affiliate of Ateneo de Manila University
