Who are qualified to apply for Grades 2 and 3?

Boys and girls currently enrolled in Grades 1 and 2 for SY 2025-2026 in an elementary school duly recognized by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) are eligible to apply.

Student applicants must maintain the following standards for both the previous school year and first two quarters of the current year:

  • Academic
    • A passing mark in all subjects
    • A general average of 78% or higher
  • Conduct
    • No mark lower than 85%, B+, or its equivalent in all quarters

 

Who are qualified to apply for Grades 4 to 6?

Only male applicants are qualified to apply for Grades 4 to 6. Boys currently enrolled as a Grade 3 - 5 student for SY 2025-2026 in an elementary school duly recognized by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) are eligible to apply.

Student applicants must maintain the following standards for both the previous school year and first two quarters of the current year:

  • Academic
    • A passing mark in all subjects
    • A general average of 78% or higher
  • Conduct
    • No mark lower than 85%, B+, or its equivalent in all quarters

 

What are the requirements for Grades Transferee applicants to SY 2026-2027?

The following documents must be ready for the applicant:

  • Most recent 2x2 picture (colored, with white background)
  • Scanned birth certificate (PSA/NSO copy)
  • Scanned copy of the previous school year’s report card SY 2024-2025 (front and back pages)
  • Scanned copy of the latest report card SY 2025-2026 (front and back pages) indicating the applicant’s Learner Reference Number (LRN)
  • Scanned copy of applicant’s certificate of enrollment filled out by the current school of the child indicating his/her current grade level and his/her Learner Reference Number (LRN) issued by DepEd
  • Recommendation form that is automatically forwarded by the enrollment system to the email address of the child’s nominated recommender (current teacher, guidance counselor, or school administrator)

If the applicant is NOT a Filipino citizen, please also submit:

  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
  • Student Foreign Passport (bio page)
  • Visa

For applicants with dual citizenship, kindly submit a scanned copy of any of the four documents below:

  • Valid Philippine passport
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Certificate of Re-Acquisition of Filipino Citizenship
  • Certificate of Recognition as a Filipino Citizen from the Bureau of Immigration

 

How much is the application fee?

The transferee application fee is Php 1,000. You may pay via our accredited payment channels Paybiz and Ateneo Webpay online payment portal.

All transferee applications are done online.

Pay the application fee as an initial step. 

Note: Payment confirmation will take approximately 2-3 working days.

Submitting requirements

Submit all documents at the Ateneo de Manila Grade School admissions portal at ateneo.edu/gradeschool-application.

Step-by-step instructions on how to input needed information and upload pertinent documents are in the portal. Once the online application is done, the submitted information and documents will be processed. After verification of information and documents, the applicants will be given a schedule for on-site testing. 

 

When will transferee applications close?

A volume of applications is anticipated as this will be open to both boys and girls. Applications will close on 15 May 2026 or when the number of accepted applicants is met, whichever comes first. Please apply early.
