Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry strives to provide an excellent environment for scientific inquiry and discourse. The faculty offers expertise in the most relevant fields of chemistry, having been trained in well-established scientific institutions around the world. They are actively engaged in research and extension work funded by the university, the private sector, and the government.

Our students are actively engaged in cutting-edge research that use chemistry and its related fields to address the current needs of the community and the country. Equipped with technical skills and knowledge, our graduates are not only outstanding chemists, but are also well-rounded individuals that excel in their other fields of interest.

The Department is presently a designated CHED Center of Excellence in Chemistry in the Philippines.
