Widely recognized today as the first museum of Philippine modern art, the Ateneo Art Gallery was established in 1960 through Fernando Zóbel’s bequest to the Ateneo of his collection of works by key Filipino post war artists.
Join Ateneo Art Gallery this July 20, Thursday for an ArtSpeak with artist-filmmaker Shireen Seno for a screening of her film “To Pick a Flower” – free and open to the public. This ArtSpeak is a public program organized in line with the exhibition “Muntadas: Exercises on Past and Present Memories,” ON-VIEW at the third floor galleries at the Ateneo Art Gallery until 29 July 2023.
