The Climate and Disaster Resilience (CDR) Program of AIS is the platform of the Ateneo de Manila University to build and generate knowledge on climate change and disaster risk through collaborative, multidisciplinary research and stakeholder engagement. The CDR program coordinates with partners and stakeholders within and outside the university to initiate and support efforts to reduce risk due to climate and other geohazards.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Program of AIS serves as an avenue to mainstream Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and sustainability synergy via different networks. Working with the different academic units and student organizations, the Program designs modules that seek to build competences pertinent in addressing the world’s wicked problems reflected in the SDGs. Additionally, the Program strives to strengthen its knowledge and keeps up to the trends of sustainable development through synergizing with networks. Thus, the Program engages with numerous national and regional networks, such as the ASEAN University Network for Ecological Education and Culture (AUN-EEC), for which it serves as the secretariat
