Moving the Community

In the University, an Electric Jeep shuttles passengers around the campus, while the Basic Education Unit provides their students access to morning and afternoon school bus services. In the Ateneo Junior High School, students are required to join a carpool or simply walk when on campus which has helped ease congestion problems. In the Loyola Schools, the Department of Student Welfare and Services facilitates the car-pooling services and reserves convenient parking spaces for College students who join this service.

Ejeep in action

Nine Electric Jeeps, or E-Jeeps, shuttle passengers around the campus through efficient routes and release 2.5 times less MT CO2 compared to tricycles. After transporting passengers across campus, these Ejeeps return to a designated charging station found beside one of the campus gates.
