AUN-EEC Webinar on Best Practices in Ecological Education and Culture
As part of its goals to promote ecological education and culture, AUN-EEC hosted a series of webinars in 2021 to continue conversations and discussions on best practices for EEC and cultivating a sustainable lifestyle. The first webinar was held last November 2022 on applying systems thinking as an approach to teaching and learning. The webinar was titled, "Going Around in Circles? Learning from Feedback Loops". The guest speaker for the event was Dr. Charlotte Kendra Gotangco Gonzales, Director of the Ateneo Institute of Sustainability and Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Ateneo de Manila University.
The webinar featured a breakout session in which participants had the opportunity to explore causal loop diagrams via case studies presented by the guest speaker on Loopy. The topics were basic ecology, urban green spaces and wellbeing, mass public transport and air quality, traffic and obesity, and anxiety and depression.
