A Food Systems Webinar on Equitable Livelihoods with Sonny Matula
On behalf of the ADMU and XU Joint Working Group on SDG#2 Zero Hunger, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our ongoing Webinar Series on Sustainable Food Systems and the Future in the context of the SDG 2030 with focus on Zero Hunger SDG#2.
In 2021, various virtual public conferences were organized, including the first-ever independent dialogue for the UN Food Systems Summit, to increase public awareness on the challenges brought about by food insecurity and under-nutrition and to explore pathways to contribute to sustainable ways forward in a variety of issues.
In this light, for 2022, we would like to invite you to the 2nd Webinar in the series on Wednesday, 09 March from 3:00 – 4.30 p.m. via Zoom on the theme of “Employment, Livelihoods, and Food Systems“. The main part of the talk will be given by Atty. Sonny Matula, the current President of the Federation of Free Workers.
You may register with this link: https://go.ateneo.edu/FSWMatula-Reg.
It is our hope that the policy dialogue will be able to look at inter-related issues of labor and employment and food systems issues in the political setting.
If you were not able to catch our previous Webinar with Rep. Teddy Baguilat, You may also join our Facebook group or contact us through our email foodsystems.vpsd@ateneo.edu for any questions. Please also stay tuned for our upcoming Webinars below:
We hope to see you there!
