Making Sense of Our Past, Seeking a Sense of Our Future: An Online Spiritual Symposium on Philippine Catholic Education

We invite you to join us in Making Sense of Our Past, Seeking a Sense of Our Future: An Online Spiritual Symposium on Philippine Catholic Education. This one-of-a-kind gathering of minds and hearts will begin on March 24 (Thursday) at 9:00am and conclude on March 26 (Saturday) at 12:00nn. 

Organized by the Ateneo de Manila’s Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design (GBSEALD) in partnership with the Catholic Education Association of the Philippines (CEAP), this two-and-half-day symposium is designed to offer us Catholic educators a unique opportunity to learn and pray together. As a community of Catholic educators, we will ask the Lord: “Where could You be leading us?”

For the participants, we are hoping to gather a mix of 500 veteran/master teachers, young teachers (with at least 3 years of experience), and administrators — all of whom have gone through retreats or similar extended prayer experiences.

We hope that they:

1. will commit to attending the two-and-a-half-day online symposium from March 24 to March 26;

2. have access to a stable internet connection; and

3. will participate not only by listening to the talks but by praying and reflecting individually and with a group.
