Voter Conversations Forum: Women in Politics #BreakTheBias
On Women’s Month, young women leaders speak out on Women in Politics. Four heads of student governments and three mayors present their views on the problems faced by women in Philippine society today and what women’s issues should be addressed by our political leaders. The young leaders discuss the special challenges of women aspiring for political office and share their personal experiences with breaking the bias against women in political leadership.
Finally, the prospects for an organized women’s vote (i.e., women voting, voting for women, and voting for candidates with a women’s agenda) are considered.
The university community is invited to attend this timely conversation, on 29 March 2022, Tuesday, at 4:00-6:00 pm.
