ArtSpeak Online: Children's Illustration and Truth-Telling

Join us for ArtSpeak Online: Children’s Illustration and Truth-Telling on 15 June 2022 (Wednesday), 4-6PM via FB live! This panel discussion will feature illustrators Liza Flores, Fran Alvarez, and Aldy C. Aguirre, with a conversation that will be moderated by Ruben “Totet” de Jesus.

A panel of award-winning illustrators from Ang I.N.K. talk about the challenges of illustrating for children, navigating complex themes, finding inspiration, and how their individual artistic styles are influenced by the communities they are part of. This panel discussion is co-presented by the AAG with the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY).
