This conference, which is supported by the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS), aims to contribute to the expansion of Korean Studies in Maritime Southeast Asia and establish strong connections between and among leading institutions in the region. Scholars and academics from various educational institutions in five countries in Maritime Southeast Asia, namely: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore, will present and share valuable lessons and experiences in teaching and doing research on Korea-related topics in their respective countries.
