Law School Mass of the Holy Spirit and Red Mass

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a tradition among Jesuit academic institutions in which the community gathers in thanksgiving and to seek the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit for the academic year just opened. A Red Mass, on the other hand, is a Mass celebrated for all members of the legal profession--judges, lawyers, law school professors, law students, and government officials.

August 12, 2022, being the first Friday of the Ateneo Law School’s (ALS) academic year, a combined Mass of the Holy Spirit and Red Mass will be celebrated at the St. Thomas More Chapel at the Ateneo Professional Schools Building in Rockwell Center, Makati City at 6pm.

The mass will also be streamed live at ateneo.edu/live.
