National Disaster and Preparedness Week
The Philippines is located along the typhoon belt and situated in the Pacific Ring of Fire. The country is frequently visited by typhoons and is vulnerable to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. First and foremost, it is crucial to have a plan and know what to do when disaster strikes. Preparing a “go” bag containing first aid paraphernalia that one can easily grab is equally essential. Moreover, getting accurate, reliable, and updated information would guide and keep everyone safe in times of emergency. Always remember that “A Family that Prepares Together is Safe Together”! Stay safe!
