“Health Challenges and Opportunities in the Philippines and Indonesia”

This event serves as a collaborative activity marking the formalization of the partnership ADMU and WMSCS. It aims to facilitate mutual friendship and academic cooperation between the two universities, and create a student-centered discussion on ASEAN-related topics that aim to strengthen the people-to-people connectivity among the ASEAN member states.
The student conference is a venue for students of both universities to share their research on some of the major health challenges confronting the people of ASEAN, focusing on the Philippines and Indonesia. Aside from adopting the comparative lenses, the analyses of economics, political science and sociology, and anthropology to understand and propose possible policy solutions to the significant health problems in the region.
