The Korean Studies Program is once again hosting the annual KF-Ateneo Teaching 'Korea' in Philippine Academia: Interdisciplinary Seminar-Workshop for Filipino High School Educators from November 9 to 11, 2022 via Zoom.

Sponsored by the Korea Foundation and co-organized with the Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design, Loyola Schools, Ateneo de Manila University, this free workshop aims to train local high school teachers in developing content for Korea-related courses. For this year, we have invited esteemed experts and scholars who will conduct lectures on Korean history, culture, society, politics, and economy. A special lecture on Philippines-South Korea relations will also be provided.
This seminar-workshop is part of Ateneo’s efforts towards indigenizing and sustaining Korean Studies in the Philippines.
