Antigone
NAGBABALIK SI ANTIGONE
ANTIGONE returns this week for a limited, pay-what-you-want run in Tanghalang Pagsanghan (Dulaang Sibol), Ateneo High School. Audience members may pay any amount they wish, in support of the production, before or after the show. Walk-in audience members are welcome, but for guaranteed seats, you may sign up and donate at go.ateneo.edu/antigone2023.
For comparison, regular tickets are P500, student tickets are P250. As always, admission is free for Ateneo de Manila employees. We especially encourage teachers and formators to watch, and consider inviting their students to see our next regular run in late August and late September 2023.
Antigone is Dulaang Sibol’s 68th season opener. The play is Jean Anouilh’s adaptation of the tragedy by Sophocles, and translated by Onofre Pagsanghan, and directed by Missy Maramara. This special run is part of our special celebration of the 47th anniversary of Tanghalang Onofre Pagsanghan, and is dedicated to our Dear Mrs Pagsi, Florinda Duran Pagsanghan, and Lino Rivera, two people whose courage and grace inspire and embolden us.
All guests who do not have a valid Ateneo student/employee ID or car sticker need to fill out a Campus Access Request form at go.ateneo.edu/antigone2023CAR by 12nn of the day of the show to be allowed to enter the Ateneo de Manila campus.
