The Department of Political Science, European Studies Program, and School of Social Sciences of the Ateneo de Manila University and the Carlos P. Romulo Foundation for Peace and Development cordially invite you to the third annual Ambassador Rodolfo C. Severino Jr. Endowment fund lecture which will focus on "The European Outlook on the West Philippine Sea Issue and Its Influence on Philippine Foreign Policy."
H.E. Dr. Andreas Pfaffernoschke, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany; Mr. Adam Folleas, Officer for Higher Education and Linguistics at the Embassy of France in the Philippines and Dr. Ana Isabel Sanchez Ruiz, Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines will share the European perspective on the West Philippine Sea. University of the Philippines Professor of Law, Jay Batongbacal, will serve as discussant. The forum aims to foster a deeper appreciation of the intricacies surrounding the broader implications within the Indo-Pacific region while delving into areas of convergence and divergence between the stances of the United States and Europe and their implications on Philippine foreign policy.
