Strengthening Strategic Health Purchasing in Southeast Asia: Progress, Opportunities, and Recommendations
The Ateneo School of Government through the Ateneo Policy Center, in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the National University of Singapore (NUS) Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, and Southeast Asia Regional Collaborative for Health (SEARCH) Network, will be hosting a forum titled “Strengthening Southeast Health Purchasing in Southeast Asia: Progress, Opportunities, and Recommendations” on 31 January 2024, 10:00 AM - 12:00 nn.
The forum seeks to become an avenue to discuss health financing and purchasing priorities for the Philippines. In particular, it seeks to draw feedback, insights, and suggestions on how to better implement health financing and how SEARCH and BGMF can support the Department of Health in this endeavor.
Dr Hong Wang from BMGF and Dr Kiesha Prem and Ms. Capucine Barcelona from SEARCH will serve as speakers from the event.
