Ateneo Sustainability Sessions Opening Ceremony

SGV Academy, JGSOM and AIS are jointly organizing the Ateneo Sustainability Sessions this September, the Environmental Awareness Month. The four-session event caters to undergraduate students of Ateneo but is also open to graduate students and other members of the community. Though participants need not attend each session, it will be more meaningful if completed. Sessions will focus on sustainability and sustainability reporting as practiced both in SGV and Ateneo.

Session 1, the Opening Ceremony takes place on Friday, 6 September 2024, at the BRC Room. It will consist of the ff:

• Opening remarks
• Overview of the University's commitment to sustainability
• How Ateneo has reported on sustainability previously
• Ateneo's initiatives, including initiatives on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Introduction of collaboration with SGV for the activities of the whole month
