AREA HospitaliTALKS: Kapihan - How's Business Bean

KAPIHAN, is an initiative that aims to connect coffee enthusiasts and the coffee beverage and product sector. This event features a coffee beverage conference for AREA members, the Ateneo community, and anyone with a love and passion for the craft of coffee. This conference offers an opportunity for the aforementioned individuals to learn and professionally grow through this 2-day event of talks, engaging discussions, and workshops.
The 2-day event will cover various topics, including the science of coffee beans, the farm-to-table process, coffee making (including latte art), and the business behind the industry. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and gain basic knowledge and skills in relation to: coffee preparation, deep insights about the coffee industry, and aspects surrounding the industry’s latest trends.
“How’s Business Bean?” is a segment dedicated to putting the spotlight on coffee businesses in the Philippines. It will also tackle the needs and challenges of building, running, managing, and franchising of coffee businesses. There will also be a discussion on the numerous trends in coffee making, coffee shops, & coffee businesses.
This session takes place from 3:00 to 5:30 pm on 20 November 2024 at Salon Curnonsky, Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila and will feature guest speakers Jea Calingo of Trabi Cafe Mikaela Leetong of Brew&Co and Daniel Saavedra of Pilgrim's Coffee Shop.
