Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Principal Patroness of the Ateneo and the Philippines

Every year, on December 8, the Church honors the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Vessel from whom our Savior,  Jesus Christ, was born to bring salvation to all mankind. The dogma of the Immaculate Conception holds that Mary was conceived without the state of original sin and chosen by God from the beginning.

Join us at the Church of the Gesù for a Mass to celebrate  the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary - the Principal Patroness of the Ateneo and the Philippines - at 10:30 am. Fr. Nono Alfonso SJ is our presider and homilist. The Friends of the Gesù will serve as our choir.

•  Confessions will be available from 9:30 am.
• The recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will begin at 10:00 am.
• The blessing of religious articles will be done after the Mass.

Let us together, offer  our reverence to our Mary Immaculate and ardently plead her intercession for our personal and community intentions.

Taun-taon, tuwing ika- 8 ng Disyembre, pinararangalan ng Simbahan ang Mahal na Birheng Maria, ang dalisay na sisidlang nagsilang kay Hesukristo, upang magdala ng kaligtasan para sa sangkatauhan. Ang Dogma ng Kalinis-linisang Paglilihi kay Maria ay naniniwala na siya ay ipinaglihi nang walang bahid ng orihinal na kasalanan at siya ay pinili ng Diyos mula pa noong una.

Inaanyayahan namin kayo sa Simbahan ng Gesù para sa isang Misa upang ipagdiwang ang Kalinis-linisang Paglilihi kay Maria — ang Pangunahing Patrona ng Ateneo — sa ganap na 10:30 NU. Si Fr. Nono Alfonso, SJ ang ating tagapamuno. Ang Friends of the Gesù ang magsisilbing koro.

• Magkakaroon ng Kumpisal simula 9:30 NU.
• Magsisimula ang pagdarasal ng Santo Rosaryo ng 10:00 NU.
• Ang pagbebendisyon ng mga religious articles ay gagawin pagkatapos ng Misa.

Sama-sama nating ialay ang ating paggalang sa ating Mariang Kalinis-linisan at taimtim na hingin ang kanyang pamamagitan para sa ating mga personal at pangkomunidad na mga intensyon.
