Korean Cultural Diplomacy in the Philippines by Former Amb Han Dong-man

The entire Ateneo community is invited to a special lecture by the Former Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Philippines Han Dong-man on Korean Cultural Diplomacy in the Philippines.

Join the Korean Studies Program on Thursday, 20 February 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ben Chan ArtSuite, Areté, as Amb. Han shares his experiences and insights on the role of cultural diplomacy in strengthening Korea-Philippines relations.

Through this lecture, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how Korea has fostered mutual exchange and cooperation through language, arts, and education. This event also highlights the growing impact of Hallyu and other cultural initiatives in shaping the Philippines' engagement with Korea.

This event is co-organized by the Rosita G. Leong School of Social Sciences and the Ateneo King Sejong Institute.
