ABSTRACT

This paper serves as an extension and additional reflection on the earlier points laid out in “Tungkol sa mga Karatula ng Rali at Poot,” a response to National Artist Virgilio S. Almario’s review (“Kung Tutula sa Oliba at Kapayapaan,” 25 October 2024) of the zine ang mga bata, naging binhi ng oliba, nakatanim sa lupa (Bente Bente Zine, 2024). It focuses on the ongoing analysis and assertion of the power of "rally and rage" as the core of protest that nurtures and shelters victims of violence and oppression, particularly in the context of the continuing genocide in Palestine. In the face of aggression from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Zionist forces backed by the massive imperial power of the United States, the paper underscores the importance of persistently exposing the violence taking place and standing in solidarity with the struggle and perseverance of the Palestinian people. This paper concludes with a call for active engagement and resistance in the pursuit of justice and freedom for the people of Palestine.
