Paanyaya para sa The Frankfurter Flotilla: Latag-Aklat at Talakayan para sa Palestina 

Samahan ninyo kami sa dalawang araw ng panawagan at pagsuporta sa paglaya ng Palestina ngayong 16–17 Oktubre 2025 sa “The Frankfurter Flotilla: Latag Aklat at Talakayan para sa Palestina.” Sa pangunguna ng Ateneo Institute of Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP), katuwang ang UP Center for International Studies, Kritika Kultura, UP Institute of Creative Writing, Network in Defense of Historical Truth and Academic Freedom, at Baybayin Ateneo, tunguhin ng back-to-back na gawain na ipalaganap ang pagboykot sa institusyong tulad ng Frankfurt Book Fair na lantarang sumusuporta sa rehimeng apartheid ng Israel.

Unang tampok na gawain ang Book Fair na gaganapin sa mga foyer ng SEC-A at SEC-B sa Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila mula 9:00 NU–5:00 NH, kung saan magtitipon ang iba’t ibang grupo't kolektibo na sumusuporta sa mga adhikain at karapatan ng mga Palestino.

Kasunod naman nito ang isang Roundtable Discussion, kung saan pag-uusapan din ng mga manunulat, artista, at iskolar ang halaga ng kilusang BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) laban sa Israel at sa mga kasanggang institusyon at kompanyang sumusuporta dito. Magaganap ang talakayan sa ika-16 ng Oktubre 2025, mula 5:00 NH hanggang 7:00 NG sa NGF Conference Room, De la Costa Hall.

The Frankfurter Flotilla: Book Fair and Discussion for Palestine

Join us in a back-to-back activity on 16–17 October 2025, as we continue to call for a boycott of the Frankfurt Book Fair, in support of the emancipation of Palestine. Spearheaded by the Ateneo Institute of Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP), in partnership with the UP Center for International Studies, Kritika Kultura, UP Institute of Creative Writing, Network in Defense of Historical Truth and Academic Freedom, and Baybayin Ateneo, the “Frankfurter Flotilla: Book Fair and Discussion for Palestine” will have two parts, the first of which is the Book Fair, which will be held at the foyers of SEC-A and SEC-B at the Ateneo de Manila University on 16–17 October 2025. Different groups and collectives that support the cause will gather and sell their books, with part of their proceeds to be donated to Palestinian families in the Philippines.

The two-day event will end in a Roundtable Discussion where writers, artists, and scholars will discuss the BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) movement against Israel and its allied institutions and companies. The discussion is set to be held on 16 October 2025, 5:00–7:00 PM at the NGF Conference Room, De la Costa Hall, Ateneo de Manila University.
