The Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ACSEnt), with support from the Kwan Laurel Social Enterprise Fund (KLSEF), proudly presents the second installment of the ACSEnt Speaker Series, featuring Dr Cecilio K Pedro, Chairman of Lamoiyan Corporation and one of the country’s most respected business leaders.

With the theme “From Mission to Virtue: A Journey of Values-Based Leadership,” the session will explore how leading with integrity, compassion, and faith can guide enterprises through times of change, challenge, and growth.

Dr Pedro’s leadership journey is a testament to the power of purpose-driven business. As the head of Lamoiyan Corporation—the first Filipino-owned toothpaste manufacturing company behind well-loved brands Hapee and Kutitap—he has shown that success and social responsibility can go hand in hand. His enduring advocacy for inclusive employment, particularly for the hearing-impaired community, continues to inspire generations of Filipino entrepreneurs and changemakers.

Through this Speaker Series, ACSEnt invites students, educators, and aspiring social innovators to reflect on the deeper calling of enterprise — to lead not only with vision, but with virtue.
