Ateneo Law Alumni Association Calls for Nominations for 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards

The Ateneo de Manila Law Alumni Association, Inc. (ALAAI) is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards, which recognize graduates of the Ateneo School of Law who exemplify excellence, integrity, and service in the legal profession.

This year’s awards will be presented in the following categories:

• Award of Excellence in the Field of Education – For alumni who have made exceptional contributions to legal education through teaching, scholarship, and mentorship while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Award of Excellence in the Practice of Law – For alumni who demonstrate exemplary legal practice, uphold the highest ethical standards, contribute to legal reforms, and advance justice, including service to the underprivileged.
• Judicial Excellence Award – For alumni in the judiciary who embody integrity, impartiality, and efficiency, and who contribute to legal reform and community engagement.
• Special Awards – For alumni whose outstanding achievements create significant positive change in their communities in areas such as legal aid, human rights, gender equality, and humanitarian work.
• Posthumous Awards – To honor alumni whose exceptional contributions were not recognized during their lifetime.

Nominations will be accepted until 31 August 2025. The awarding ceremony will be held on 24 October 2025, at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
