Ateneo de Manila University, along with De La Salle University and the University of the Philippines, are collaborating with the ASEAN University Network – Health Promotion Network (AUN-HPN) Secretariat to host the 4th AUN International Health Promotion Conference with the theme, “Advancing Health Promotion in the ASEAN Region: Championing University Innovations for Equity and Resilience.”

Background

• The AUN-HPN promotes the role of higher education in health promotion. Convened by Mahidol University, Thailand, the network relies on the support of member universities to implement programs that benefit the ASEAN region.
• The AUN-HPN International Advisory Committee (IAC) consists of nominees from various member universities and provides guidance on the network’s workplan. The IAC meets annually to collaborate and strengthen health promotion practices across ASEAN universities.
