Quomodo Desolata Es? Isang Dalamhati (Re-run)
"Quomodo Desolata Es? Isang Dalamhati" returns to Areté in 2026.

Produced by Areté and directed and adapted by Guelan Varela-Luarca, the production reimagines Nick Joaquin’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Filipino as a powerful meditation on memory, grief, and national inheritance.
Set in a war-scarred ancestral home in Intramuros, the play follows two sisters who refuse to abandon their house and the unfinished artwork it holds, even as the world outside moves forward.
