Re-imagining Nature: Sketching and Abstraction Workshop
Spend your afternoon at the Ateneo Art Gallery with our Re-imagining Nature: Sketching and Abstraction Workshop!
Organized in line with the exhibition ‘Mauro Malang Santos: Drawings’, this workshop will focus on the sketching practice of visual artist and illustrator Mauro ‘Malang’ Santos. Participants will learn how to use abstraction as a technique, how to look to nature for references, and how to develop the practice of sketching in their daily lives. The workshop will be led by Ateneo Fine Arts lecturers Mary Cruz, Roselle de Guzman, and Andy Pavia.
This program is open to participants ages 14 and up. Drawing and coloring materials will be provided, but participants are required to bring their own sketchbooks.
