[Training Course] Public-Private Partnerships for the People: By and For Local Government Units

The Ateneo School of Government through its Executive Education Program invites you to the training course on Public-Private Partnerships for the People: By and For Local Government Units scheduled on 12 to 13 March 2026 at the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Heights Campus.

Public-Private Partnerships for the People by and for LGUs

Equivalent to 16 learning hours, this training course aims to deepen the understanding and strengthen the capacity of local government officials and development stakeholders in pursuing Public-Private Partnerships for the People (PPPP). The course explores how LGUs can effectively collaborate with the private sector, civil society organizations, and communities to deliver responsive, sustainable, and inclusive local development projects.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Appreciate PPPPs in the context of local governance, local autonomy, fiscal autonomy, and accountability.
  2. Understand PPPPs, its governing policies, definition, value drivers, arrangements, procedures and requirements.
  3. Develop the capacity to view the importance of future-proofing PPPs. 

This course is ideal for Local Chief Executives and Vice-Chief Executives,  Members of the Local Legislative Councils or their representatives, Heads of Departments or their , Officers of Private Companies and Chambers of Commerce, Representatives of CSOs, NGOs and POs, Members of the Academe, and Consultants.

The course fee of Php 15,000 is inclusive of certificate (upon successful completion of course requirements), training materials, access to post-training resources and peer learning opportunities, and meals (AM-PM snacks and lunch).
