Teaching Rizal: What are we really learning?
In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Rizal Law (RA 1425), the Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design - GBSEALD and Rizal Library invite you to the next Lighthouse Learning Series.
Ambeth R Ocampo will deliver a talk entitled "Teaching Rizal: What are we really learning?" For decades, generations of Filipinos have encountered José Rizal in the classroom. But beyond requirement and routine, what have we truly come to understand? What does the law really want us to learn?
Join us to revisit Rizal on April 18, 2026, at the Rizal Library (5F First Pacific Hall).
This lecture is free and open to the public.
Slots are limited. Register at lighthouselearning.ateneo.edu.
