Ateneo COED @ 40 Half The Sky Scholarship

In 2013, the University celebrated 40 years of coeducation at the Ateneo de Manila University. This event was celebrated in recognition of women’s participation within and beyond the University in the last 40 years, recognizing women as ‘co-creators of our country’ (Bolipata-Santos, 2013). To commemorate the event, Ateneo launched the Ateneo COED @ 40 Half The Sky Scholarship, which aimed to give out 40 scholarship awards worth P500,000.00, as well as an additional four women yearly in the next ten years.
