Discussions tackle the connections between climate change and disasters, framed through an integrated risk approach and covers tools and concepts on socio-ecological resilience and influence diagrams. The aim is to increase learning on climate change and disasters in a holistic manner so as to provide a well-rounded science-evidence based approach to assessing and formulating options and actions that lead towards pathways for development that are both sustainable and climate change resilient.
