Data Science and Statistics for High School Research

Research methodologies at any level continue to rapidly evolve. As such, educators need to be equipped with the most appropriate conceptual frameworks and tools to facilitate quality research. This workshop focuses on both the foundations and advancements in statistical analysis and data science approaches. Foundational topics include exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing and regression analysis. Moreover, participants will be exposed to tools and methodologies in data analysis that prevail in the current research landscape. The workshop will use extensively use Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
