Ateneo Library of Women's Writings

A space that procures, preserves and promotes writings by and about Filipino Women

About ALIWW
Body

The Ateneo Library of Women’s Writings (ALiWW) is an archival facility and one of the Special Collections of the Rizal Library. Established in 1994 by Dr Edna Manlapaz and Dr Soledad Reyes, it is proudly the first of its kind in the Philippines and in this part of the world. ALiWW's mandate is summed up by three Ps: "Procure, Preserve, and Promote" writings by, and about, Filipino women in various disciplines such as literature, journalism, history, medicine, and more.
