According to the Employee Code of Decorum, the institution is committed to equality among all units and the international human rights values.
A Gender Hub was formed in 2019 to help the Loyola Schools Committee on Decorum and Inquiry create policy, provide in-person and online resources, and carry out gender-sensitive training. This was done to further enhance gender equality and sensitivity.
To uphold its zero-tolerance attitude against all forms of discrimination and violence against persons, the institution has enacted laws and policies such anti-discrimination measures, the Gender Policy Statement, and the CODI. Through a university-wide approach, it aims to promote a culture of respect for human dignity, address sexual harassment and misconduct, prevent their recurrence, and address their effects.
