Admission to Ateneo de Manila University is open to qualified individuals. The university offers undergraduate degree programs in the humanities, management, social sciences, science and engineering, and education.

Degree Programs, Majors, and Specializations

Ateneo de Manila University introduces undergraduate students to fields of specialization in which they pursue, in greater attention, one particular area of knowledge suited to their individual talents and goals. It seeks therefore to build an intellectual tradition within the specific context of the developing nation.

Paths for Applying to First Year College

Local Applicant

You are considered a local applicant if you are studying in, or graduated from, a school within the Philippines.

You are considered a first-year college applicant if you are still in the last year of secondary education.

If you have already graduated from secondary education AND you meet the following criteria, you will be considered a first-year college applicant if:

  • you have not yet enrolled in a college/university, AND
  • you have not yet taken any college/university units/courses before and/or during the application and confirmation period.

International Applicant

You are considered an international applicant if you are studying in, or graduated from, a school outside the Philippines.

You are considered a first-year applicant if you are still in the last year of senior high school.

If you have already graduated from secondary education AND you meet the following criteria, you will be considered a first-year college applicant if:

  • you have not yet enrolled in a college/university, AND
  • you have not yet taken any college/university units/courses before and/or during the application and confirmation period.

In general, the application process for applicants from outside the Philippines is similar to the process for local applicants.

Note to all applicants: If an applicant is found to be misrepresenting or falsifying a document/s, their application will be rejected or their acceptance will be withdrawn.
