"A lot of what made the course for me was really how much it pushed me to experience the real world and make decisions for myself. There was minimal handholding from the course, but it provided a lot of mentorship and perspective from seasoned players and alumni in the tech industry. The concept of guidance over an overly-rigid structure of learning enabled me to grow in a direction that I felt was right for myself, and to exert my own agency and creativity over my ideas. I’ve worked in a unicorn startup called ClickUp as a software engineer and today work as a leader in a tech consultancy using the soft skills I learned from the ITE course, as well as the hard skills introduced to me but honed myself. If you choose to take ITE, you’re in good hands; but, if ever you find yourself in a pinch, the vast network of professors, mentors, experts and alumni the course connects you to will do their best to answer your questions, so keep the questions coming!"
