Liaa Bautista

"B.S. Information Technology Entrepreneurship proved to be the perfect fit for someone like me, a jack of all trades and once a master of none.

It was a surprise that ITE goes far beyond just “IT”. It’s a holistic business program that trains entrepreneurs with an understanding of both the visible and invisible aspects of a startup venture. It bridges technology with entrepreneurship in meaningfully collaborative ways.

ITE served as a sandbox, not simply cushioned landing, but a structured and constructive process that encourages growth within a competitive environment. It offered opportunities to experiment, build a network, fail safely, and learn systematically. It taught me an invaluable lesson: success doesn’t happen overnight.

What truly sets ITE apart is its commitment to direct mentorship. Hands-on guidance from our Program Director, Professors, and Thesis Mentors ensured actual use of otherwise theoretical class lessons. ITE students are shaped into adaptable problem solvers, ready to face the challenges of today’s dynamic and evolving business landscape.

Because of ITE, I was able to meet industry leaders, build connections, and navigate the challenges of fieldwork. While I began as a master of none, I left having found my strength through our thesis startup: marketing & client relationships."
