We commemorate EDSA in the spirit of the Jubilee Year 2025 which sees hope as both a gift and a task. Then as now, our country and the world faced abuse of power, violence, injustices, and polarization. But many of our people responded not with despair but with stirring examples of self-giving that created spaces of hope through collective action.

President’s Day 2026 (Memo U2526-061)
(Memo U2526-061)Our community will observe President’s Day on Monday, 2 February 2026. This institutional holiday, held every first Monday of February, will see the suspension of all University operations. Classes and work across all campuses will resume on Tuesday, 3 February 2026.
