Fr Roberto C Yap SJ

Fr Roberto C Yap SJ is the 31st President of Ateneo de Manila University.

Yap is a Filipino priest, economist, and educator, appointed to the position by the Board of Trustees of Ateneo de Manila University last 3 August 2019. He assumed office 1 August 2020, succeeding Fr Jose Ramon T Villarin SJ, who was president from 2011 to 2020.

Dr Ricardo G Abad (1946-2023)

An outstanding sociologist and esteemed faculty of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and the Department of Fine Arts, Ricky (GS ’58, HS ’62, AB Sociology ‘66) was a passionate advocate for theater education, inspiring individuals, students, and groups to discover the best in themselves and use it to make a difference in their communities, nation, and the world.
