The University promotes sustainable commuting online, sharing photos of bikers on campus

The University advocates for people-centric mobility and a healthier and more equitable urban environment by encouraging walking and constructing facilities (i.e. safe & accessible bike racks, showers, and lockers) that encourage active transport such as the use of vehicles that do not directly use fossil fuel (bicycle, e-vehicle), ridesharing, and other innovations in mobility.

Mainstreaming walking, cycling, and other modes of active transport are key to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. In line with this, AIS through the Campus Safety and Mobility Office, works closely with the Central Facilities Management Office to communicate, enforce and develop programs for the proper management of campus safety and mobility.
