About the Center

Scholarship

As part of the university's aim to make education accessible to more people, scholarships are given to Loyola Schools students based on merit, athletic, or financial needs. The Chinese Studies Program is happy to be able to contribute to this aim.

Through very generous benefactors who are one with the ideals of the Program, the following scholarships are given to qualified majors of the Chinese Studies Program -- MATTEO RICCI SCHOLARSHIP AND AASA-FR. BIENVENIDO F. NEBRES SJ ENDOWMENT FOR CHINESE STUDIES.

CSP and RLCCS Work Flow

Together with the rest of the Ateneo community, CSP and RLCCS operations have seamlessly shifted online. While administrative staff and personnel will be onsite in batches, established coordination protocols and procedures between and among them will remain undisturbed.

Notwithstanding onsite work, transactions with CSP and RLCCS shall be done primarily online through email.[4] A dedicated mobile phone with a number dedicated for CSP use is made known and available to CSP clients who require instant communication. Contact details of CSP and RLCCS are and will continue to be posted in their respective website pages and social media accounts.

This notwithstanding, limited face-to-face transactions may be scheduled by appointment through QR codes posted outside the Room and publicly announced through CSP / RLCCS website and social media accounts. Appointments are for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes.

In the course of doing work online, matters and incidents may arise onsite. The following Plan covers these.

Incoming and Outgoing Documents Onsite. Two (2) sets of incoming and outgoing drop boxes for CSP and RLCCS respectively, will be placed outside the door of the Room to minimize face-to-face transactions.[5]
Face-to-Face Transactions. Where the nature of the transaction requires or where a prior appointment was secured, face-to-face transactions shall (i) be conducted in the designated meeting area only and (ii) be conducted while maintaining “physical distancing of ONE AND A HALF [1.5] meters.”[6] The designated meeting area is Room 206. When face-to-face meetings are held in this room, in the absence of air purifiers, windows shall be opened for proper air ventilation.
