Subject           :           University-wide long weekend, 13-16 January 2022

Our Ateneo community has not been spared by the ongoing COVID-19 surge in the country, particularly Metro Manila. The surge has affected a substantial number of our employees and their families, taking a toll on their physical and mental health.

To give time to those who are sick to rest and recover, for those attending to sick family members to focus on caring for them, and to all to have a break from the demands of work, the University will go on a long weekend starting 12pm on Thursday, 13 January 2022.

Classes and work, whether online or onsite, will resume on Monday, 17 January 2022.

I pray for everyone's health and well-being, and may all those who have fallen sick of COVID-19 have a speedy recovery.
