The Ateneo de Manila University Press and the Ateneo Professional Schools invite everyone to the book launch of “Countering COVID-19: Cases in Crisis Response” on July 15, 2021 (Thursday) at 2:00PM to 3:00PM (Philippine Standard Time).

Opening the program is editor and head of Ateneo Policy Center, Ateneo School of Government, Ms. Ivyrose S. Baysic, while Dr. Edilberto C. De Jesus from the Ateneo School of Government introduces the book.
Together with us for a short discussion are Dr. Manuel Dayrit, Editor and Professor of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, Hon. Abigail S. Binay of Makati City, Dr. Mary Racelis, Professor at the Ateneo de Manila University, Mr. Barry Paulino, Executive Director of the Philippine Constructors Association, and Dr. Ma. Dominga B. Padilla, Co-convener of Doctors for Truth and Public Welfare. The panel will discuss the country’s vaccination campaign, vaccine hesitancy, issues of vulnerable populations during the pandemic, and challenges of local public health governance.
This event will be moderated by Ms. Marites D. Vitug, Editor-at-Large and Journalist of Rappler.
