Zion Uy helps PH Team place 3rd overall in prestigious int'l math tilt

Representing the Philippines, recent Ateneo de Manila Grade School graduate Zion Uy (6-Campion in school year 2020-2021) earned a bronze award in the individual competition of the Indonesia International Mathematics Competition (IIMC), which was held online from July 27 to 31, 2021. Zion was also a member of the Philippine team that emerged as 3rd Overall in the Key Stage II/Elementary team competition, behind champion China and first runner-up Vietnam. The same Philippine team also emerged as champion of the Key Stage II Group Prize competition.      

The IIMC was participated in by 31 countries, including Australia, Bulgaria, China, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, the USA and Vietnam, making it one of the most prestigious in the world.
