Tiel Blanca places 2nd in India-based chess tournament

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Junior High School chess wizard Tiel Blanca (Pamplona/9-Sitjar) placed second in the India-based Little Angels High School (LAHS) Gwalior Diwali Celebration Online Open Blitz Chess Tournament. Tiel’s first runner-up finish was in the Boys 17 U division, which attracted 88 participants from various countries. The competition was held online using the lichess.org platform on November 4, 2021.
