Ateneo-powered ‘A-Squad’ is 10U champ of Hoops 360 tourney

A-Squad basketball team- whose roster includes 14 Ateneo de Manila Grade School boys- placed second and first in two tournaments held late last year. A-Squad was 10U first runner up of the Milcu Sports Got Skills “Hoops 9.0” tournament held on November 27, and two weeks later, 10U champion of the Hoops 360 Premier Cup Season 2 tournament on December 10.

The “Hoops 9.0” games were held at the Central Recreation and Fitness Center in Quezon City, while the Hoops 360 games were played at the Cittadella Executive Village Basketball Court in Las Piñas City.  

The members of A-Squad who are from Ateneo Grade School are Sam Arao (4-Sikatuna), Julian Baliwag (4-Lakandula), Cash Escalona (5-Maguindanao), Karl Gandionco (5-Tagbanwa), Julian German (4-Sumakwel), Pierce Ibuyan (5-Mangyan), Jacob Liwanag (5-Talaandig), Mucho Mabigat (5-Ivatan), Gavin Manlutac (5-Ivatan), Jaime Ong (5-Talaandig), Manolo Pasion (5-Ifugao), Luke Redulla (4-Rajah Matanda), Miguel Violago (4-Sikatuna), and Keno Ymasa (5-Mangyan).
