Ateneo Born-2012 team places 2nd in RIFA Cup

Ateneo de Manila Grade School’s Born-2012 football team is first runner-up of the 2023 RIFA Cup, a bi-annual inter-school cumulative tournament. The first edition of the 2023 competition took place on January 14, 21, and 28, 2023, with the first two game days being held at Xavier School in San Juan, and the finals being fought at Colegio San Agustin in Makati.
The team is composed of Sylar Alcantara (5-Bagobo), Sancho Bautista (4-Lakandula), Javi Bautista (5-Ivatan), Reign Cruz (5-Bagobo), Matteo Diaz (4-Tupas), Ghazi Dy (5-Ifugao), Anton Flameño (5-Ivatan), Harvey Garcia (5-Tagbanwa), Joaquin Kison (5-Yakan), Jesus Goduco (5-Kalinga), Raphael Lauzon (5-Talaandig), Kyle Molina (5-Yakan), Matteo Villanueva (5-Tausug), Bosco Virrey (5-Bagobo), and Ted Ureta (5-Tagbanwa). They are coached by Paul Madrona.
